Topsy Turvy cake!

Hope everyone is enjoying your saturday! I know I am! Recently my boyfriend and I have decided to buy a home and between him working 7 days a week, 12 hours a day (he is in construction) and house hunting its been very demanding for him! Thankfully he has this weekend off so we are enjoying some much needed time together and ready to put an offer in on a home! YAY! Anyway, so I finished the topsy turvy cake and I like how it turned out. Im my own worst critic of course so I always see the faults and things I wish I did different/better. Before I show you the picture I wanted to share my first two topsy turvys :] I have been decorating cakes for about 1 1/2 years now so Im pretty proud of how far I have come...

Well this isnt a topsy turvy but this is the first cake I ever made :]

This is the first topsy turvy I ever did. It was quite the fiasco being it was probobly my 4th cake ever made but I did learn a lot :]

2nd topsy turvy. I HATED this one. The cake was too moist and couldnt hold its shape but I committed to making it so I did my best. They loved it.

3rd topsy turvy. This is one that is going to a birthday today. I was much happier with this one and it was my first time making a little figurine (I think he turned out a little creepy but cute :] )
Well thats my trip down topsy turvy cake lane :] I will continue to post my cakes if everyone wants to see them. I should be able to finish my other project later today and be able to share it! Hopefully I will be able to get a video camera soon so I can make some tutorials! That would be awesome! Hope everyone has a fantastic saturday!
